We’ve loved caring for our pups so much, we wanted to care for more.

Bayou Canine Academy started as two people that share a love for the pups. From years of growing our own canine family, we discovered the bond that is formed when helping your pup achieve their highest potential. The secret was through a balanced approach to obedience training. We understand that adding a member to your family is exciting, but unknown behaviors can be intimidating. What is often not realized is that the pups are just as nervous. The trainers at BCA want to make the addition of a canine family member, whether young, old, or in-between, a smooth and confident transition. That is why we created our academy, because every pup deserves a good home, and any home can have a well-behaved pup.
